Are you aged 7 to 11 and passionate about table tennis? Do you want to be a video star promoting our new TT Kidz programme? If you answered ‘yes’ to those two questions then we have the perfect competition for you!
As we build up to the launch of TT Kidz in March, we are looking for a youngster to beat the drum and help us promote the programme to get more young players in to the sport.
We will be selecting a minimum of one boy and one girl and they will be involved in photo and video shoots and get to meet and play against England players.
To be in with a chance of being selected, all you need to do is send us a short video of yourself saying why you love table tennis.
You will need to get your parent/guardian to sign the form attached at the bottom of this page and send it back to us to let us know they are happy for you to enter the competition.
The closing date is 5pm on Thursday January 10. After that, a panel will select the winning entry.
TT Kidz is our initiative to increase table tennis participation among the 7-11 age range. The central aims are:
- To provide young people with an inspiring, engaging and fun first experience in the sport
- To enable us to build national partnerships with organisations that can help take the sport to more young people
- To provide clubs and coaches with a more attractive programme to take into schools and community groups to enhance a table tennis offer
- To engage new young coaches/activators in the sport
TT Kidz will be launched at the National Conference on the weekend of March 30-31, 2019. Pilot projects will test the sessions from April 2019 onwards and we will be inviting clubs across the country to begin to deliver TT Kidz from September 2019.
Don’t forget, you can hear more about the plans and how your club can get involved by signing up to join our webinar on Monday December 10 (7.30pm to 9pm).
During the webinar – an online seminar – you will be able to see and hear about the plans, as well as post questions or comments, which we will be able to answer during the session.
To sign up, please fill in your details below and we will send you the details of how to join the webinar a few days before.
